Planning & research
I started by understanding what the client wanted, who their audience was, and how users would interact with the site. Planned the pages, booking flows, SEO tags, and where to integrate payments and notifications so everything felt smooth and connected.
Frontend & responsiveness
Built the frontend in Next.js and styled everything with Tailwind CSS. Made sure the site works on mobiles, tablets, and desktops. Created reusable components and booking forms that are easy to use and look clean.
Payments & sessions
Integrated Razorpay for payments with OTP login so users can pay securely. Used Upstash Redis to manage sessions and caching, making the site faster and more reliable.
Emails & notifications
Set up email notifications for bookings, confirmations, and updates. Made sure emails reach users reliably and look good on all devices.
SEO & optimization
Added meta tags, structured data, and optimized load times. Ensured all pages are easy for search engines to find and index.
Tools & stack
Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, Axios for API calls, Razorpay, Upstash Redis, and email APIs. Managed the whole project solo as a freelance assignment.
